LafargeHolcim: agreement to divest Holcim Philippines
(CercleFinance.com) - LafargeHolcim has announced the signing of an agreement with the conglomerate San Miguel Corporation to sell its 87.
5% stake in Holcim Philippines Inc., for an enterprise value of 2.15 billion dollars (100%-basis).
This transaction is expected to be finalised in the last quarter of 2019, and is subject to regulatory and customary authorisations. The proceeds will enable the Franco-Swiss cement maker to further improve its gearing by about 0.3 times.
