LafargeHolcim: wins half a billion pound contract in UK
(CercleFinance.com) - LafargeHolcim announced on Thursday that its British subsidiary, Aggregate Industries, has just won a four-year contract for the provision of road surface solutions to Highways England, which operates, maintains and improves the road network in England.
The contract has an estimated total value of over 500 million pounds. Highways England has awarded Aggregate Industries five of the six main regional consignments.
"Today's announcement continues LafargeHolcim's recent success in the UK, following the selection of Aggregate Industries to exclusively deliver the surfacing works for England's largest road improvement project, the A14 from Cambridge to Huntingdon," the group said.
