LafargeHolcim: net loss on asset depreciation
(CercleFinance.com) - LafargeHolcim has published a net loss, group share, of 1,675 million Swiss francs for 2017, under the weight of heavy asset depreciation, without which, its net income would have increased by 11.
3% to 1,417 million Swiss francs, or 2.35 Swiss francs per share.
Underlying Ebitda reached 5,990 million Swiss francs, up 6.1% on a comparable basis, on revenues of 26,129 million Swiss francs, up 4.7% on a comparable basis (2.9% as reported), particularly thanks to growth in cement volumes sold.
LafargeHolcim will offer a dividend to two Swiss francs per share, stable y-o-y. In 2018, the game expects sales growth of 3% to 5% and a more than proportional increase in underlying Ebitda of at least 5% on a comparable basis.
