Clariant: Q3 sales drop 14%
(CercleFinance.com) - Swiss specialty chemical group Clariant's Q3 sales came in at 893 million Swiss francs, down 14% in Swiss francs y-o-y.
At the same time, EBITDA reached 127 million Swiss francs, from 151 million Swiss francs in Q3 2019.
For the first nine months of the year, sales declined by 13% to 2.83 billion Swiss francs, while EBITDA increased by 66% to 419 million Swiss francs.
Clariant expects the pandemic to have a slightly less negative impact on sales and profitability in Q4 2020 compared to Q3.
