Clariant: Englander reduces stake to below 3%

(CercleFinance.com) - New York investor Israel Englander, the owner of the Millennium Management hedge fund, has sold shares in Clariant, thereby reducing its stake to below 3%, according to a filing with Swiss financial regulators on Friday.

Englander said in late December that he had raised its stake in the Swiss specialty chemicals maker Clariant to above the 3% threshold, as a result of an acquisition of shares.

The American financier first came to the fore as a shareholder in Clariant in October 2019, when he revealed a stake of almost 3.5%.
