Adecco: names ex-Pearson finance chief as new CFO
(CercleFinance.com) - On Friday Swiss staffing group Adecco named former Pearson executive Coram Williams as its new chief financial officer.
The Zurich-based HR solutions company said that Williams will replace its current CFO Hans Ploos van Amstel, who joined in 2015, mid-year.
A British National, Wiiliams has served as CFO of British educational publisher Pearson since 2015. From 2013 to 2015, he was CFO of Penguin Random House, Pearson's joint venture with Bertelsmann, based in New York.
"The new CFO announcement may come as a bit of a surprise," said analysts at UBS. However, the broker said it does not see any impact on the targeted savings planned this year.
