Roche: shareholders approve all board proposals
(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday Roche said that its shareholders have approved all proposals of its board of directors at its ordinary AGM today, which was held under special circumstances given the COVID-19 crisis.
Due to the pandemic, the Swiss drugmaker recommended that shareholders delegate their votes to the independent proxy, an option that was chosen by 85.5%.
At the meeting, shareholders approved an increase in the dividend for the past financial year to 9 Swiss francs per share, representing the group's 33rd consecutive dividend increase.
Christoph Franz was also confirmed as board chairman, with 99.5% of the votes, while Jörg Duschmalé and Patrick Frost were elected as new members.
