Roche: again extends offer for Spark
(CercleFinance.com) - Swiss biopharma giant Roche on Tuesday announced another extension of its offer for US gene therapy specialist Spark Therapeutics, this time until 25 November, to provide additional time for antitrust authorities to complete their reviews of the deal.
The offer was previously scheduled to expire on Wednesday 30 October.
Roche has said that all terms and conditions of the offer will remain unchanged during the extended period.
Roche added that the offer was extended to provide additional time for the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and the UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) to complete their reviews of the acquisition.
