Roche: to present new drug data for neurological diseases
(CercleFinance.com) - Roche said that it will present new data for its approved and investigational medicines for the treatment of neurological conditions, such as spinal muscular atrophy and Huntington's disease, at a a medical conference next month.
Presentations will include data from a pivotal study for risdiplam in spinal muscular atrophy (SMA), which has the potential to become the first oral treatment for the disease, Roche said.
New data for investigational medicines in neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD), Huntington's disease (HD), Alzheimer's disease and Duchenne muscular dystrophy will also be shared, the drugmaker said.
The data will be presented at American Academy of Neurology (AAN) annual meeting from 4-10 May, held in Philadelphia.
