Roche: shareholders approve all proposals at AGM
(CercleFinance.com) - Roche's shareholders have approved all proposals of the board of directors at the Swiss drugmaker's ordinary annual general meeting, held today in Basel.
Christoph Franz has been confirmed as chairman of the board with 99.9% of the votes, the group said.
Moreover, Hans Clevers, a professor in molecular genetics, has been elected as a new member of the board, with a one year term of office.
Shareholders have also approved an increase in the gross dividend for the past financial year, which will be 8.70 Swiss francs per share.
The 840 attending shareholders represented 86.7% of the company's share capital, Roche said.
