Novartis: prices sustainable development bond

85 billion euros.
The group thus wishes to strengthen its commitment to ESG principles and patient access targets by 2025.
The new bond is the first of its type in the health sector and the first sustainable development bond to integrate social objectives.
Bondholders are entitled to receive a higher amount of interest if Novartis fails to meet its objectives of broadening access to its advanced medicines and addressing major global health challenges.
