Novartis: shares up after broker raises target

(CercleFinance.com) - Novartis is up slightly (+0.
1%) on Friday after UBS raised its target price for the share of the Swiss drugmaker.

The share has risen to 90.7 Swiss francs, after reaching 91.1 Swiss francs when the market first opened, continuing with its rally since the beginning of the year (+22% year-to-date).

Last month the shares reached their highest level in over a decade, at 91.4 Swiss francs.

UBS - which has a "neutral" rating on the stock - this morning raised its target price for the Basel-based company's share to 87 Swiss francs from 85 Swiss francs.
