Novartis: shares gain as UBS increases target

5% at 88.4 Swiss francs today, making them one of the top performers amongst Swiss blue chips, after UBS raises its target price on the drugmaker to 85 Swiss francs from 82 Swiss francs.
"Novartis claims it can launch more than 10 blockbusters in the next two years. We get to 5," the broker says in a note entitled "still in transition."
"This is just about enough to offset generic so no sustainable premium growth," it adds, while reiterating its "neutral" rating on the stock.
