Barry Callebaut: FY 2019-20 recurring net profit down 18.5%

(CercleFinance.com) - Barry Callebaut has reported 2019-20 recurring net profit of 319.
3 million Swiss francs, down 18.5% (-13.3% in local currencies) on sales of 6.9 billion Swiss francs, down 5.7% (-0.4% in local currencies).

Confident in its medium-term targets, the Swiss chocolate maker proposes a dividend of 22 Swiss francs per share for the past year, meaning a stable payout ratio of 39%.

In addition, Barry Callebaut announces the departure of its CFO Remco Steenbergen at the end of 2020 to become Lufthansa's CFO. He will be replaced by Ben De Schryver, member of the Executive Committee in charge of Asia Pacific.

The share is up over 1.5% in late morning trading on Wednesday.
