Bombardier: Biman Bangladesh Airlines orders 3 Q400s
(CercleFinance.com) - On Monday Bombardier Commercial Aircraft announced that Biman Bangladesh Airlines (the national airline of Bangladesh) has bought three new Q400 turboprop planes.
At the Q400 aircraft's current price, this order is worth almost 106 million US dollars. The three aircraft will be added to the two Q400s already operated by Biman Bangladesh Airlines.
"The Q400's mix of turboprop economics and jet like performance were the best match for Biman's mix of short and long-range routes. Operators coming back for more Q400 aircraft really validate the benefits of the aircraft's unique characteristics," said François Cognard, Cognard, VP, Sales, Asia Pacific.
