Bombardier: wins contract in Germany
(CercleFinance.com) - On Wednesday evening Bombardier Transportation reported that it has signed a contract with Duisburger Verkehrsgesellschaft AG (DVG) to supply 47 new Bombardier Flexity vehicles.
This contract amounts to approximately 132 million euros. The first vehicles will be delivered by mid-2019 and other trams will be delivered up until 2023.
Flexity trams will provide increased passenger traffic capacity and fluidity and will include Bombardier's obstacle detection assistance system for added security, the railway equipment manufacturer specified.
