Bombardier: new bond issue raised to 1 billion dollars.
(CercleFinance.com) - Bombardier said on Tuesday that it planned to raise 1 billion dollars, which is 100 million dollars more than initially planned, to refinance part of its existing debt.
The Canadian firm said the net proceeds will be used to finance a previously announced tender offer for 600 million dollars worth of the group's 4.75% senior notes due in 2019, with the remainder for general corporate purposes.
The issue - which will carry a coupon of 7.50% per annum - is expected to close around 27 November.
