Bombardier: launches senior notes to refinance debt.
(CercleFinance.com) - Bombardier said on Monday that it has launched senior notes totalling 900 million dollars, due in 2024, and plans to use part of the proceeds to refinance debt.
The net proceeds of the offering are expected to be used to finance a tender offer for 600 million dollars worth of Bombardier's 4.75% senior notes due in 2019.
The remainder will be used for general corporate purposes, the Canadian firm said.
