Lazard: former Deutsche Bahn CEO to join firm.
(CercleFinance.com) - Lazard said on Thursday that Rudiger Grube, formerly the CEO of Deutsche Bahn, will join the firm as chairman of investment banking for Germany, effective in August.
Before serving as CEO of the German rail operator from 2009 to 2017, Rudiger Grube held senior management roles at Daimler-Benz, where he was appointed to the executive board in 2001.
Having begun his career in the aerospace industry in 1989 - Grube has also been chairman of EADS' board of directors from 2005 to 2009.
