Umicore: buys back 10 million euros of own shares
(CercleFinance.com) - Belgian materials technology group Umicore said on Tuesday that it has bought back over 10 million euros worth of its own shares over the past week.
The company has repurchased 281,000 shares, or 0.1% of its total share capital, at an average price of 36.2 euros, it said in a statement.
It bought the shares between 18 February and 22 February.
By midday today, Umicore shares are up 1.7% at 37.2 euros.
