Gimv: invests in Apraxon
(CercleFinance.com) - Belgian investment company Gimv has announced it has completed an investment in Apraxon, a home care provider specialising in wound care services in Germany, as part of a joint growth plan with the company's founder and CEO.
Apraxon provides high quality care for people (mainly elderly) who have chronic wounds in a home care setting. Typical indications include recumbency, diabetic foot and ulcus cruris.
This new investment marks Gimv's fifth acquisition in the German-speaking healthcare market in the past four years. It currently has 23 stakes in health and life science companies.
