Solvay: signs agreement with Safran for a LEAP engine
(CercleFinance.com) - Solvay announces the signature of an agreement with Safran for the supply of advanced structural composites for the LEAP engine made by CFM International.
This engine is used on Airbus, Boeing and Comac short- to mid-haul programmes.
Solvay will supply Safran a range of composite material technologies for the manufacture of the engine's critical structural components, including fan blades, fan case, and acoustic panels.
