Mediaset: extends Accenture TV deal for three more years
(CercleFinance.com) - Italian broadcaster Mediaset has extended its collaboration with Accenture to use the IT consulting firm's platform for the delivery of video services.
Under the terms of the deal, Mediaset will use Accenture's video solutions as a platform for its popular streaming service Infinity for three more years.
Accenture will provide Mediaset with a single point to manage back-end processes for video services - including business support system, device management, reporting, content acquisition, promotion and distribution management.
Accenture helped Mediaset to launch its paid streaming content service in 2013.
