Yum! Brands: Q4 EPS down 5%

(CercleFinance.com) - Yum! Brands reports EPS (excluding non-recurring items) of $1.
26 for Q4 2023, down 5% y-o-y, with adjusted operating profit that is up 8%.

The operator of the KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell brands reported system sales up 5% excluding FX factors (+1% LFL), while restaurant margins improved by 1.8 point to 17.4%.

2023 was a record year for development, with over 4,700 new outlets opened, management said, who expects to pass the 60,000-restaurant mark worldwide in 2024.
