Whirlpool: Q4 EPS down 37%

(CercleFinance.com) - On Monday evening Home appliance manufacturer Whirlpool announced that adjusted EPS fell 37% to 3.
89 dollars in Q4 2022, for revenues down 15.3% to a just over 4.9 billion dollars.

Sales fell by 10.8% in organic terms, which Whirlpool says was impacted by exceptional supply problems in North America and a slowdown in demand, albeit partly offset by favourable price and mix effects.

Therefore posting FY 2022 adjusted EPS of 19.64 dollars, just above a forecast of about 19 dollars announced three months ago, for this financial year Whirlpool anticipates 16 dollars to 18 dollars.
