ViacomCBS: Q4 EPS up 13%

(CercleFinance.com) - ViacomCBS has reported adjusted net profit from continuing operations that is up 13% for its last quarter of 2020, which reached 645 million dollars, or 1.
04 dollar per share, i.e. EPS that is roughly in line with the consensus.

Its revenue rose by 3% to 6.87 billion dollars, despite almost no revenue from cinemas, as its advertising revenue and affiliate revenue grew by 4% and 13% respectively.

Thus, over the past year as a whole, the parent company - amongst others - of CBS, Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon, has recorded adjusted EPS that is down 13% to 4.20 dollars for revenues that are down 6% at less than 25.3 billion dollars.
