UnitedHealth: Q4 EPS exceeds estimates
(CercleFinance.com) - US insurance and health services giant UnitedHealth Group reported Q4 2019 adjusted EPS that is up 19% at 3.
90 dollars, beating analysts' estimates by 12 cents.
Operating profit increased 13% to 5.1 billion dollars, while revenue rose 4.2% to 60.9 billion dollars, driven by both its insurance subsidiary UnitedHealthcare and its services subsidiary Optum.
Having reported FY adjusted EPS that is up 17% at 15.11 dollars, this exceeded its last target range of 14.90 dollars to 15 dollars, UnitedHealth Group confirms that it expects EPS to be between 16.25 dollars and 16.55 dollars for 2020.
