Tesla: Carrefour to offer its cars for rental

(CercleFinance.com) - Carrefour has announced that its Carrefour Location service, the leading vehicle rental network with 850 branches in France, now has new electric passenger cars, including the Tesla Model Y and Tesla Model 3, with a unique digital experience and a large range.


The Tesla vehicle offer will initially be available in 80 of its hypermarkets and supermarkets, which will be extended more by 2023.

This offer will be combined with the deployment of Carrefour Energies through its 5,000 electric recharging points available by 2025 for all hypermarkets and markets, with a 100% green electricity service.

After closing up 5.5% yesterday, Tesla shares are on a yo-yo, down 3.7% in pre-market trading today, while Carrefour shares are down about 1.2%, albeit outperforming the French market by about 1%.
