Ralph Lauren: Q2 results above expectations.

(CercleFinance.com) - On Thursday Ralph Lauren reported Q2 EPS of 1.
75 dollar, against just 55 cents a year earlier.

On an adjusted basis, the upmarket clothing brand's EPS reached 1.99 dollar, 10 cents above the consensus.

However, revenues came in slightly lower than expected, reaching 1.66 billion dollars, after 1.82 billion dollars, with analysts expecting 1.64 billion dollars on average. In particular, revenues suffered from the 16% drop in sales in North America to 877 million dollars.
