Qualcomm: Mark McLaughlin appointed Chairman

(CercleFinance.com) - On Wednesday Qualcomm announced the appointment of Mark McLaughlin, the former Chairman and CEO of cybersecurity specialist Palo Alto Networks, as chairman of its board of directors, effective immediately.


Mark McLaughlin takes over from Jeff Henderson, the former CFO of Cardinal Health Health group, replacing Jeff Henderson, who had served in that capacity since March 2018.

Henderson, who was Qualcomm's first independent chairman, will continue to serve on the board.

This switchover comes as the Californian group is transitioning towards 5G technology.
