Pfizer: EPS just above expectations

(CercleFinance.com) - Pfizer has announced adjusted Q4 2018 net income that is up 1% at 3.
8 billion dollars, i.e. 64 cents per share, meaning EPS that has just beaten the consensus - by one cent.

The health giant's sales rose 2% to nearly 14 billion dollars. In operating terms, revenues rose by 5%, with the 10% growth in the innovative health division having offset the 3% decline at the essential health division.

Pfizer has posted adjusted FY 2018 EPS of 3 dollars and revenue of 53.6 billion dollars, in line with its targets announced three months ago. For 2019, the group respectively expects between 2.82 dollars and 2.92 dollars and between 52 billion and 54 billion dollars.
