(CercleFinance.com) - On Thursday evening, News Corp, the parent company of Dow Jones, HarperCollins and Foxtel amongst others, reported adjusted EPS of 17 cents for Q4 2023-24, compared with 14 cents a year ago.
EBITDA from the information group's segments rose by 11% to $380m, supported mainly by strong contributions from the book publishing segment and its subsidiary REA Group, on revenues up 6% to $2.58bn.
The strength of our main growth pillars - book publishing, online real estate services and Dow Jones - which inspired the increased profitability, bodes well for the 2024-25 financial year, management says.
