Moderna: Abbas Hussain joins the Board of Directors

(CercleFinance.com) - Moderna announces the addition of Abbas Hussain, former CEO of Vifor Pharma, to its Board of Directors, effective October 2, 2024.


Noubar Afeyan, co-founder and chairman of Moderna, emphasizes that Abbas' leadership experience in vaccines and pharmaceuticals will be 'a valuable asset' to the company.

Abbas Hussain has also held various executive positions at GlaxoSmithKline and Eli Lilly and Company, and currently holds several non-executive director and advisory roles.
