Microsoft: joins Siemens' cybersecurity initiative

(CercleFinance.com) - Siemens has announced that Microsoft has joined the Charter of Trust (CoT) cybersecurity initiative, an initiative launched in 2018 by Siemens and eight industry partners aimed at advancing cybersecurity across all sectors and globally.


As a new member of the CoT, Microsoft plans to contribute its cybersecurity expertise in developing and promoting robust security principles for a secure digital world. With the addition of Microsoft, the Trust Charter initiative has grown to 18 members, Siemens says.

Partnering with industry is critical to addressing the challenges currently faced, and we look forward to working with Charter members to advance strategies and initiatives that strengthen cybersecurity, Microsoft said.

Seems to be no big deal though - Siemens shares are just under (-0.1%), while Microsoft shares are doing worse in pre-market trading today (-0.6%).
