Microsoft: COVID-19, puts Edge on stand-by

(CercleFinance.com) - At the weekend Microsoft announced the suspension of version 81 of its Edge browser for Stable Channel, due to the coronavirus epidemic and the consequences this is having on its teams.


However, security updates will continue to be released for version 80 of the Internet browser.

Microsoft is not the only net giant that has been hit by COVID-19. Google has also announced that it will prioritize security updates for Google Chrome, instead of releasing major versions.
