Eli Lilly: raises EPS target for 2020

(CercleFinance.com) - Eli Lilly says that it has raised its annual adjusted EPS target range, now looking for 7.
20-7.40 dollars, from a previous target range of 6.70-6.90 dollars, while still expecting revenues of 23.7-24.2 billion dollars.

In Q2 2020, the pharmaceutical company's adjusted net income rose by 24% to 1.72 billion dollars, or 1.89 dollar per share, with revenues down 2% to 5.5 billion dollars, with price effects.

The group has said that key growth products that have been launched since 2014, such as Trulicity, Verzenio and Cyramza, contributed nine percentage points to revenue growth and accounted for approximately 54% of total sales.
