Kimberly-Clark: raises full-year targets

(CercleFinance.com) - Kimberly-Clark announces that it is now targeting FY 2020 adjusted EPS of 7.
50-7.65 dollars, up from a previous forecast range of 7.40-7.60 dollars, alongside organic sales growth of 5%, compared to a previous target range of 4%-5%.

Even so, the hygiene products supplier reported Q3 adjusted EPS that down is 6.5% at 1.72 dollar, 3 cents below the consensus, with its adjusted operating profit down 6% at 806 million dollars.

Revenues of the owner of brands such as Kleenex and Cottonelle brands inched up by 1% to 4.7 billion dollars as reported, and 3% in organic terms, including a 2% increase in volumes and a 1% increase in price and mix effects.
