HP Inc: Q2 EPS above expectations
(CercleFinance.com) - HP Inc reported Q2 adjusted EPS that is down 3.
8% at 51 cents on Wednesday evening, although six cents above the consensus, with an adjusted operating margin up 0.1 point at 7.5%.
The IT hardware company saw its revenues fall 11.2% to 12.5 billion dollars as reported (-10.1% at constant exchange rates), with declines of 7% in PC sales and a 19% drop in printer sales.
While the Palo Alto Group is targeting an adjusted EPS of between 39 cents and 45 cents for the current quarter, it refuses to give a target range for the full year, given the high level of uncertainty around the pandemic and economic conditions.
