Fedex: completes acquisition of ShopRunner

(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday FedEx announced that it has completed the acquisition of ShopRunner, an e-commerce site that offers delivery within two days with free shipping and return in exchange for an annual fee.


The e-commerce platform, which is reserved exclusively for its members, brings around 100 brands such as Kate Spade, Under Armour and American Eagle Outfitters directly into contact with online consumers.

FedEx says it wants to make ShopRunner the cornerstone of FedEx Dataworks, a new subsidiary to leverage its data ecosystem to transform the digital and physical customer experience.
