Facebook: Q4 EPS exceed estimates
(CercleFinance.com) - Facebook has unveiled Q4 2019 net income that is up 7% at 7.
35 billion dollars, or 2.56 dollars per share, i.e. EPS that is five cents above the consensus.
Quarterly revenues rose 25% to almost 21.1 billion dollars, mostly from advertising revenues (over 20.7 billion dollars), with the number of average monthly users increasing 8% to 2.5 billion.
In all, the US social networking giant thus reported FY 2019 EPS of 6.43 dollars, down 15%, for revenues of 70.7 billion dollars, up 27% from 2018.
