ExxonMobil: raises estimate at block offshore Guyana
(CercleFinance.com) - ExxonMobil said on Monday its Stabroek block offshore Guyana is estimated to have more reserves than previously thought, according to a new evaluation.
The 26,800-square-kilometre Stabroek block contains an estimated 4 billion oil-equivalent barrels, up from a previous estimation of 3.2 billion oil-equivalent barrels, the US company said.
ExxonMobil's Esso is operator and holds 45 per cent interest in the block.
