Dollar Tree: Q1 EPS down, but beats expectations
(CercleFinance.com) - Dollar Tree's Q1 2020 results, which it released before the opening bell on Thursday, showed a drop in adjusted EPS.
At 1.04 dollar, EPS was down 8 cents, from 1.12 dollar a year ago. It is however still above the consensus, which was looking for EPS of 90 cents.
Meanwhile revenues rose 8.2% to 6.29 billion dollars.
Investors seem excited by these numbers, with the share up over 8% in pre-market trading.
