Coca-Cola: raises dividend, confirms guidance

(CercleFinance.com) - Coca-Cola, the world's largest soft drinks maker, said on Thursday that it is raising its quarterly dividend by 2.
5% to 41 cents a share.

The dividend - which marks its 58th consecutive annual dividend increase - is payable on 1 April to shareholders on record as of 15 March, the Atlanta-absed company said.

Some 6.8 billion dollars was returned to shareholders last year, the company said.

Also, on Friday, Coca-Cola reaffirmed its full-year guidance, while stating that the Covid-19 virus was expected to have an impact of 1- to 2-points on organic revenue and 1- to 2-cents on earnings per share in the first quarter.

This announcement was made at the CAGNY consumer analyst group conference in New York.
