Bristol Myers: share repurchase authorisation increased

(CercleFinance.com) - Bristol Myers Squibb announces that its Board of Directors has authorised additional share buybacks of 2 billion dollars, bringing the total authorisation to approximately 6.
4 billion dollars.

"The timing and amount of any share repurchases under the authorization will be determined by management at its discretion and based on market conditions and other considerations", the pharmaceuticals company said.

Such repurchases may be carried out through open market purchases, negotiated transactions, block trades or accelerated transactions. The program may be suspended or terminated at any time at the group's discretion.
