Boeing: appoints former KPMG accountant to board
(CercleFinance.com) - Boeing last Friday appointed Lynne Doughtie, a former executive at accounting giant KPMG, to its board of directors, replacing Caroline Kennedy, the company said in a statement.
Doughtie, 58, retired from KPMG last year after serving as US chairman and CEO since 2015. She was the first woman to head KPMG's US business.
During her tenure, KPMG experienced strong growth, Boeing pointed out, adding that the business woman will serve on the planemaker's audit and finance committees.
Caroline Kennedy joined the board in 2017, after being the US ambassador to Japan during four years.
