Boeing: production suspension extended in Seattle area

(CercleFinance.com) - Boeing is extending the suspension of its production operations in the Seattle area due to the spread of COVID-19 in Washington State.


For volunteers who have been supporting essential work at the Puget Sound area and Moses Lake, additional measures have been implemented, including physical distancing, more frequent cleaning and new shift times to reduce the flow of employees, the company said.

Otherwise, employees who can work from home should continue to do so, Boeing said.
