Boeing: KLM orders another two 777 jets
(CercleFinance.com) - KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, the Dutch arm of Air France-KLM, has placed an order for two more 777-300ER ("extended range") airplanes in a deal worth 751 million dolars at current list prices, Boeing said on Monday.
The 777-300ER - intended to strengthen KLM's long-haul fleet - can seat up to 396 passengers in a two-class configuration and has a maximum range of 13,650 km, Boeing added.
KLM already operates 29 777s, including 14 777-300ERs. It also flies 747s and the 787 Dreamliner family.
