Boeing: Vietnam Airline delivered first 787-10 Dreamliner

(CercleFinance.com) - Boeing announced on Thursday that it has delivered its first 787-10 Dreamliner to Vietnam Airlines, which plans to use it on its busiest long-haul routes.


The 367-seat aircraft (24 business class and 343 economy) will travel distances of up to 11,910 km, meaning that it can travel 95% of the world's long-haul routes, Boeing said.

This is the first aircraft delivered as part of the eight 787-10 Dreamliner order placed by Vietnam Airlines with American Air Lease.

In its press release, Boeing says it has delivered over thirty 787-10 Dreamliner aircraft to six carriers since the model's commercial launch last year.

More than half of the companies which use the aircraft are now based in Asia.
