Biogen: Q1 EPS up 31%

(CercleFinance.com) - On Wednesday Biogen unveiled aQ1 2020 adjusted net profit that is up 15% at 1.
58 billion dollars for the first three months of 2020, meaning EPS of 9.14 dollars.

Adjusted EPS rose by 31% y-o-y, while revenues edged up 1% at 3.53 billion dollars.

Michel Vounatsos, Biogen's Chief Executive Officer, said, "We delivered strong financial results in the first quarter, and we continued to develop and expand our pipeline, including making good progress toward the U.S. regulatory filing for aducanumab, as well as bolstering our efforts in gene therapy through a collaboration with Sangamo."
