Arconic: Q4 just misses consensus
(CercleFinance.com) - Arconic, a specialist in lightweight metals engineering and manufacturing, has reported Q4 2019 adjusted net income that is up 44% at 234 million dollars, or EPS of 53 cents, falling one cent short of the consensus, for revenue that is down 2% at 3.
4 billion dollars (+1% in organic terms).
The group said that "Growth in the aerospace, packaging and industrial markets and favorable product pricing, largely offset by weakness in the automotive, commercial transportation, and building and construction markets."
With an adjusted EPS of 2.11 dollars and revenues of 14.2 billion over the past year, for 2020 the engineering group respectively expects 2.22 dollars to 2.42 dollars and 13.9 billion to 14.2 billion dollars.
